Kag ang linaw nga desyerto nag puno sang mga papel sa iya mga mata.

Niyan ang kalamig nagpadayun samtang ginalangoy niya ang matahom nga kadagatan sang mga kapispisan
Kag sa mga bato sya naga sulusaylo sa pagpangita sang kalingawan.
Ang kaanyag sang iya panghunana, nag-athag pa gid.


But she smiles- of course she does. always carries a pen.
Her breath is visible, a cloud of ink and shadows
And every turn in dark is new and known, she waits to see
The End, but the journey is a world. She cannot let it go.

She smiles. The world may be bizarre and fearful
(claws snap and close around her hair, she laughs aloud)
